Securing the Holidays

In preparation for the busiest shopping season of the year, police departments across the country have been deploying our SkyWatch manned mobile surveillance towers to keep shoppers safe.

Hickory Police Department (Hickory, NC)

The SkyWatch command center, which looks like a fancy hunting stand, stood two stories above the parking lot at Walmart on U.S. 70.

Knoxville Police Department (Knoxville, TN)

The SkyWatch towers provide a bird's eye view to allow the police to keep track of who is naughty or nice.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (Charlotte, NC)

The Department...plans to fully utilize crime prevention tools such as its SkyWatch Towers.

DHS Announces New Study to Protect Against Chemical Attacks and Bolster Emergency Planning Efforts

ICx Technologies is to take part in a DHS Science & Technology Directorate-led study that will examine the behavior of airborne contaminants if they were to be released into the subway. The study will take place in coordination with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).  Read the full press release
